The program of the study tour “Variety in Citizenship Education”

The Robert Bosch Stiftung and the German Federal Agency for Civic Education are inviting senior experts of citizenship education institutions and organizations in Central and Southeastern Europe to a study tour to Berlin: Become acquainted with the variety of citizenship education in Germany by visiting several relevant institutions. And use the opportunity to exchange experiences with relevant stakeholders and for discussing challenges and perspectives of citizenship education in Europe.

During the program, you will meet with current and former participants and with host institutions in the program “Civic Education in Action”. This joint program of the Robert Bosch Stiftung and the Federal Agency for Civic Education is offering young professionals from Central and Southeastern Europe internships at German educational institutions and an insight-view in the European network of citizenship education.

The program of the study tour “Variety in Citizenship Education” will start on Wednesday, April 13 at 17.00 hrs, and end on Saturday, April 16 in the afternoon. Working language is English. Travel expenses of the participants will be reimbursed. Accommodation, food and participation in the program are free of charge.

Selection of participants is based on their written applications (deadline: February 28).
