Liepaja University expands cooperation with non EU countries


Bosnia and Herzegovina is not Erasmus+ programme country, but after a successful project proposal LiepU has received funding from European Comission for carrying out mobilities between both universities.
Liepaja University and Sinergija University has conlcuded the inter insiturional Erasmus+ agreement since 2018 in performing arts but now is also negotiating to expand the cooperation in IT and Business managament fields.


During the stay Erasmus+ coordinator had different meetings with Sinergija University representatives - Rector, International office coordinator, Head of English language department, she presented LiepU to the Sinergia University students and had a trip around Bijeljina and Sarajevo cities. Sinergia University is located in a small town, next to the boarder of Serbia - Biljelina.

 

Madara Lindmane adds: "Of course, Erasmus+ mobility main aim is to go for studies, to learn something new, but it is also important to learn about new cultures, to live in a totally different environment.
