12 September Ambassador of China in Latvia H.E. Tang Songgen and his spouse Ms. Wang Qian had a meeting with Liepaja University Rector Dace Medne.
The Embassy of China was represented of five persons including Mr. Zhang Jinbin, First Secretary, Mr. Wang Yuejin, Secong Secretary and Mr. Zhao Peiyao, Attaché.
Chief Specialist of International relations department Ērika Lauberga-Sleže introduced ambassador with the current cooperation with China - LiepU has an academic cooperation with Beijing Institute of Technology, hosts full time students from China. Since September 2023 Phd student from China has started his studies in a doctoral study program "New Media Arts".
Participants of the meeting were discussing on the possibility to realize Erasmus+ mobility projects with universities in China and on scientific projects and scholarship opportunities for LiepU professors and students in China.
