Every academic semester new international students are joining Liepaja University - this semester 26 Erasmus+ exchage students from 6 countries and more then 20 full degree students from Europe, Asia and Africa have started their studies at LiepU.
In this semester LiepU hosts Erasmus+ exchange students from Czech Republic, France, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Spain and Turkey. Exchage students are studying IT, design, media arts, teacher training, pedagogy as well as various foreign languages, including Latvian language. Three students from Lithuanian Business University of Applied Science have their internship at Liepaja University.
This semester exchange students are coming from very different LiepU pertner universities as:

- Università degli Studi di Napoli L'Orientale.
From 4-8 September international students had various events - welcome reception, orientation day, boat tour in Baltic sea to learn about the university and the city.
