English Language Fellow Noora Mahmassani from the USA has joined Liepaja University teaching community for the next 10-month period to enhance the teaching of English at the university.
Noora Mahmassani will teach such subjects as Professional foreign language teaching methodology, General English, English speaking country literature and culture studies for teachers, Multilingual society and class and Lexical stylistic language text interpretation.
Noora Mahmassani shares her first impressions: "Liepaja is a charming place. It is a privilege to see the sea every day, because I have never lived next to the seaside. Latvian people made my first impressions positive. Liepaja University seems very modern and professional. I can feel a lot of energy around, and I can see that people has a pride in Latvian culture".
