On 1st June 2023 LiepU Rector Dace Markus participated in the annual US government exchange alumni and grantees reception at the botanical garden in Riga. LiepU has a close cooperation with the embassy of the USA in Latvia, each year hosts Fulbright scholars and other program's participants.
Liepaja University Rector Dace Markus met with the new Ambassador of the USA in Latvia H.E. Christopher Robinson at Liepaja on 5th April 2023 during his regional visit at our town. In this academic year LiepU hosts Professor M Dujon Johnson who teaches English and culture studies to various LiepU student groups. But from August 2023 LiepU will host Noora Mahmassani - English as foreign language teacher.
