Next week Liepaja University will host two guest lecturers from Israel, the Academic College Levinsky-Wingate located in Tel Aviv - dean of the Education faculty, senior researcher and lecturer Dr Rivka Hillel Lavian and the faculty member of the M.A Department of Special Education, lecturer Dr Avy Hemy.
Both lecturers will give open lectures in teacher education on the topic “Photovoice as a Means of Promoting Inclusive and Multicultural Education – A Hands-on Workshop” under Erasmus+ teaching mobility (project KA171). Photovoice is a photography-based method that aim to empower and give voice to marginalized people and the workshop was designed to introduce the participants to the idea of photovoice as a tool for personal and social empowerment and to allow them to experience the application of the method.

April 25 at 8:30 am – 10:00 am; 10:00 am – 11:30 am (room 243, 2nd floor, LiepU main building)
April 26 at 10:00 am – 11:30 am; 12:00 am – 13:30 pm (room 243)
April 27 at 14:00 pm – 15:30 pm; 16:00 pm – 17:30 pm (room 243)
LiepU also hopes to host the first Erasmus + exchange student from this university for 1study semester in the next autumn semester 2023/2024.
