LiepU invites to join the International Scientific Event "Smart Solutions for Inclusive Higher Education"

On 28-29 March 2023, Liepaja University will have the pleasure of hosting an international scientific event - Smart Solutions for Inclusive Higher Education. This event will host participants from the higher education sector, science institutions and organizations from Europe and worldwide.

The event aims to provide a two-day open platform to discuss and highlight the changing trends and research discoveries in the field of assistive technologies and remind the importance of an accessible social environment. Scientists, developers and active assistive technology users the event to share their experience developing and including assistive technologies in their everyday lives. As a bonus, all the event participants will be introduced and provided with unlimited access to the digital assistive tool developed during the Liepaja University Erasmus+ partnership project “Smart Solutions for the Inclusion of Students with Disabilities in Higher Education”.

The location of main activities will take place in Liepaja city centre at the concert hall Great Amber (Address: Radio Street 8, Liepaja, Latvia LV-3401). Participation is available in person or online.

THE EVENT IS FREE OF CHARGE. AMOUNT OF PARTICIPANTS IS LIMITED.

All the participants are welcome to stay in the nearby hotel “Līva” (Address: Liela Street 11, Liepaja, Latvia LV-3401) free of charge. All the guests are invited to join the lunch without additional payment. When completing the registration form, please indicate whether you wish to receive hotel and lunch services.
