In order to reduce the risks of Covid-19 infection to staff, students and guests of Liepāja University, the epidemiological security measures for the distribution of Covid-19 are prolonged till 12 May 2020.
Security measures at this time:
- building in Kurmajas prospekts 13, Liepaja, is closed from 16 April and 12 May 2020;
- the building on Lielā street 14, Liepaja, is open till 12 May 2020 in working days from 9.00 to 17.00. Staff and visitors shall be permitted to enter the building within a distance of 2 metres between any person, presenting a valid LiepU staff or student card, following prior coordination with the relevant LiepU department (the head of the department must notify the doorman of the visitor);
- prohibited onsite lectures, lessons, seminars and other forms of on-site studies, further education and interest education and the implementation of forms of organisation of tests;
- the organisation of conferences and any other events at Liepaja University is prohibited;
- to organise the study process remotely using Moodle and other digital formats;
- to assure work remotely as much as possible to all departments of the Liepaja University.
