Distance studies for students of Liepaja University Faculty of Science and Engineering do not make any difficulties. Academic staff and students communicate in Microsoft Teams group.
During this week prior defence of final works are being held for last course bachelor and master students. Whereas second course IT students are working on projects whose clients are companies Ltd “Trelleborg” and Liepaja State technical school. Students are developing application programmes for the improvement of work process for both clients. It was planned that students will present to clients their project in the conference of student works, but now it is happening in the form of video conference.
The dean of LiepU Faculty of Science and Engineering Anita Jansone admits: “It was needed to adapt, in order to work remotely, but now I must admit that work is going quickly, no hitches – students do everything what is planned. We will be ready, even when defence of works will be needed to organize remotely!”
