New international students have arrived at Liepaja University

As you all may be aware Erasmus+ studying programme is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. The aim of the programme is to contribute to growth in jobs, social equity and inclusion. Erasmus also just released their statistics for the year 2018 and we are extremely pleased to be one of the contributing factors in the sea of Erasmus.

With that being said the year is just beginning and we would like to announce and most importantly welcome new Erasmus exchange and full degree international students that are just arriving in Liepāja. This year we are hosting studies for 27 new exchange students coming from 12 universities across the world, which accounts for 8 different countries: Austria, France, Philippines, Mexico, Turkey, Italy, Taiwan, Lithuania. Full degree students who will study in the study program both bachelor and master level of Information Technology are coming from India and Sri Lanka.

This year exchange students chose studies mostly between Information Technology and Foreign Languages.

The international office of LiepU would like to welcome the students with open arms and lend our assistance if it will be needed!
