The aim of the course is to provide knowledge on the basics of Artificial Intelligence and its applications and to develop the skills and competences necessary to apply techniques and algorithms of Artificial Intelligence for solving practical problems and developing corresponding software.

Subject Content

Knowledge on the basics of Artificial Intelligence and its applications. To develop the skills and competences necessary to apply techniques and algorithms of Artificial Intelligence for solving practical problems and developing corresponding software. In the labs, students will develop programs using the programming language Python.

Expected Results

On completion of the current course student will:

-        know basic methods and algorithms of Artificial Intelligence,

-        be able to use Artificial Intelligence algorithms to solve practical problems,

-        be able to select appropriate techniques and methods for solutions of the specific problems,

-        be able to write and debug software programs for implementation of the defined algorithms of Artificial Intelligence.

Requirements to gain ECTS

Successfully passed homework tasks.

It is necessary to get a positive evaluation of the solutions of each task
