Subject Aim

To offer knowledge about modern web technologies and their applications as well as to improve skills in dynamic web site development

Subject Content

Course of study introduces students to the web technology basics (client side application, server side application, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, PHP, etc.).

The theoretical knowledge is improved by development of the website.

Expected Results

After the course students:

•         Know at level of use about internet technologies and languages HTML, CSS and PHP;

•         Will be able to choose the challenges of adequate funds to the client-side tools for Web page development;

•         Will be able to use the software development tools for client-side web page development;

•         Will be able to implement the user interface on web pages;

•         Will be able to use good programming style;

•         Be able to develop programs analyzing the input and output data;

•         Be able to create user interface;

Requirements to gain ECTS

Test. 50% of the final mark is obtained from the evaluation of tests, practical and group works, the other 50% are obtained from estimation of the elaborated web-site (contents, design, technological solution).
