Subject Aim

Based on the general English language skills, to learn business and academic English for a variety of written and oral communication.

Subject Content

In this course students will acquire both the theoretical basis and practical use of practical and academic English in oral and written work. The course develops and improves four language skills on the following topics: proper written forms, principles of verbal and written communication, preparing presentations, decision-making, exchange of information, cooperation with other branches, etc. He greatest emphasis is placed on enrichment and practical and appropriate use of practical and academic English vocabulary and phrases. The course is based on practical activities, work with authentic texts and self-directed student work and studies.

 

Expected Results

•         Know terms of professional terminology in English;

•         Have competences to communicate in English;

•         • Be able to convince others and justify their views in English
