Subject Aim

The aim of the course is to improve students' communicative competences necessary for successful  oral and written communication in contemporary and academic context;

Subject Content

Oral communication promotes the capacity to analyze ones spoken production as well as discus about several actual thematics in contemporary society, formulate  and argument ones own opinion.

The aim of written communication is to improve competences necessary in the authentic written environement, elements as ortography, phrase structure and its use, selection of the information and disposition according to the communicative objectives. The course implements the ability to evaluate ones own and others written works, develop capacity of creative writing as well as analyze contemporary Spanish literature (micro-fiction) and media.

Part II provides further development of mastering different means of expression in language, data generalization and expression of own opinion on different topics.

Expected Results

Students are able to express their opinion about different actual topics, to analyze media and literary texts and conspet them as well as produce short independent written works.

Requirements to gain ECTS

Acquisition of the theoretical material, sucessful completion of independent tasks, active participation in classes (70%); successfully passed exam.
