The course aims to introduce the basic skills of translator and interpreter, nature of the work in the intercultural environment
The Translation practical course is dedicated to introduce the students in the specific aspects of the translator work. During this cours and practical exercises with translated texts the students will learn the translator skills and competences. The will learn to be able to use different technical material (diccionaries, glossaries, internet etc.) for the porpuses of translator work.
To acquire for a translator's work necessary practical knowledge and skills translating moderate complex texts;
Mastering the skills of working with supplamentary aids
Regular attendence of practical classes;
preparation for practical classes;
translation and other homework submission,
active participation in a practice sessions.
