1.Master German and Swiss historical and cultural foundations;
2.Learn to understand the country's political and social structure;
3.Be able to describe the national geography and natural conditions.

Subject Content

The course deals with acquisition of the history, culture, literature of German-speaking countries – Germany and Switzerland as well as governmental structure  and social political basis. During the study course issues related to the specific features of geography and nature. The course characterises the economic conditions in Germany and Switzerland, gives an insight into the most significant places in the country.

 

 

Expected Results

- Academic competence - knowledge about the German-speaking people and their culture, literature and traditions;
- Professional competence - the ability to present  and knowledge of the German language..

Requirements to gain ECTS

1.Attend lectures and seminars;
2. Actively participate in the seminar work;
3. Participate in practical lessons and make a presentation
