-To introduce to different aspects of sound production – articulation of sounds, word and sentence stress, linking, assimilation, elision and intonation – based on Received Pronunciation norms.

-To analyse of the English language phonetics and Latvian phonetics will be carried out.

- To introduce to the English transcription and production of correct sounds.
