To revise and consolidate the practical knowledge acquired during their previous studies, tpo extend knowledge of the main theoretical approaches in English grammar

During the grammar course students revise and consolidate the practical knowledge acquired during their previous studies, extend their knowledge of the main theoretical approaches in English grammar, study and practise it by doing more complicated exercises, focussing on the most complicated themes of the grammar course.

1. The Verb: the tenses
a) Simple and Continuous Tenses
b)Perfect and Perfect Continuous
c) Future references
d) Passive Voice. Reasons for using the passive. Agent. Passive Infinitive
2. The noun
a) possessives and compound nouns
b) countable, uncountable nouns
3. The article
a) determiners
b) zero, definite, indefinite articles, their specific use
4. The pronoun: classification

Expected Results

-theoretical knowledge about  grammar resources and their practical application
-skills to use the language  in a variety of communicative situations

skills to tell an organized, structured idea  ​​in a united text and speech unit

Requirements to gain ECTS

-participation in practical lessons
