Beijing Normal University launches an International MA program in Comparative Education in September, 2011

With generous financial support from the Chinese Government, this program will enroll 25international students, including 15 international students with full Chinese Government Scholarship covering tuition fees and living expenses.

This program is modeled on the core-course system of the Institute of International Education,Stockholm University, which has been proved to be effective over 30 years. It aims to traintalented individuals with highly developed skills in international and comparative education,planning and management, and capacities of working in international and bilateral organizations,governmental authorities, NGOs and related areas.

All courses will be taught in English. Based on the rich international resources of the BeijingNormal University and Stockholm University, the program has a strong team of professors fromleading education institutes and universities worldwide, and it will enroll students from differentcountries. We are sure this program will provide you a chance to learn and live in a realinternational and multicultural environment.

This program is a 2 years teaching and research program, students are required to complete anumber of courses and a MA thesis based on an independent research. It allows students to fullydevelop their academic capacities. It will provide students with qualifications, skills andcompetencies to apply for Ph.D. program in comparative education in Beijing Normal Universityand elsewhere..
