On 26 January more then 50 Liepaja University graduates from the Faculty of Science and Egineering, Management and Social Science Faculty and Pedagogy and Social Work faculty were celebrating their graduation ceremony. Students received both master and bachelor level diplomas.
Graduates were greeted by the deans, stressing on the fact that the diploma is a confirmation to their skills which can not be taken away, as well us bachelor level graduates were invited to continue their studies at LiepU in a higher level.
Graduates were saying thank you words for the obtained knowledge: "Hope our and your dreams come true! Thank you for your investment in our professional and personal growth"!
The last ceremony was emotional for LiepU current Rector Prof. Dace Markus, because most probably it was her last one as a rector. Till 2nd February candidates can apply for Liepaja University Rector's position.
Warmest congratulations to full time international students from Belgium, Cameroon, Pakistan and Sri Lanka who graduated! We are very proud of you all! Now 4 new IT (1 bachelor, 3 masters), 3 Ecotechnologies specialists have joined the global professional world.
