University of Thessaly Professors Give Lectures to Faculty of Science and Engineering Students

From 13-14 December 2021 in the frame of Erasmus+ teaching mobility, LiepU was hosting professors from Greece - University of Thessaly. LiepU and University of Thessaly has recently concluded the Erasmus+ insitutional agreement.

Professor George Ntalos was giving the lectures on “Wood and wood-based composite materials” to LiepU study program’s “Smart technologies” bachelor level students. After the lectures professor said: "I can see that students are really into technologies! They have an access to laboratories, so they can work on their technical projects".

Professor Konstantinos Ninikas was giving the lectures on “Energy from waste and optimisation of manufacturing procedures” to study program’s “Nature and renewable energy resources management and engineering” bachelor level students.

During the visit at LiepU, professors also had meetings with the Director of Institute of Science and Innovative Technologies Uldis Žaimis, specialists at Inernational Relations department as well as with Lilita Ābele, Director of master level study program “Ecotechnologies”.
