The incoming Erasmus+ exchange students from Turkey and Italy on 29 September hosted the 2nd cultural exchange event. Students gave introductory information about their countries, most beautiful cities, traditional food and dances. It's a great opportunity for students to express themselves, present their nation, and, most importantly, tell us about their culture.
Italian students from the University of Naples "L'Orientale" and Turkish students from different universities - Bursa Uludağ University, Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University - prepared presentations and delicious meals. As a tradition, after the presentations, Turkish students served us Zeytinyağlı Biber Dolması and potato salad. We also tried pizza and focaccia from the Italy cuisine.
Cultural evening ended the evening with traditional meal tastings and conversations between participants.
Everyone is invited to learn new and interesting information about Lithuania and Poland in the next Cultural Exchange Evening on 14th October at 18:00 PM by Latvian time (16:00 PM UTC time) - room 225.
