LiepU International Coordinator Sintija Leigute has just visited two LiepU partner universities - State University of Applied Sciences in Elbląg (PWSZ in Elbląg) and Lodz University of Technology in Poland under the Erasmus+ staff training mobility.
During her visit have been held meetings with colleagues from the International Erasmus+ offices and different departaments, visited campus of both universities and discussed various topics. With PSWZ in Elbląg were discussed the possible student and teacher/staff exchange within the Pedagogy and Art Therapy field by expanding our Erasmus+ cooperation agreement, their student internship possibilities at LiepU Faculty of Science and Engineering, exchange of blended intensive mobilities in Mathematics field under the new Erasmus+ period, Erasmus+ digitalization and the whole study process. Whereas with the Lodz University of Technology were discussed a possible cooperation in the development of joint double degree programmes in the Bachelor's programmes "Smart Technologies and Mechatronics" and "Environmental Innovation Technologies", more regular student and teacher/staff exchange visits under Erasmus+ and active change of information in terms of new other projects.

Next week LiepU will host three staff from the State University of Applied Sciences in Elbląg after a long time under the Erasmus+ staff training mobility.
PSWZ in Elbląg is a medium size university located in a beautiful Elbląg by the Baltic sea and near to Gdansk offering high quality studies in IT, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Machinery, Languages, Pedagogy and Business studies with modern classrooms and laboratories and cosy student rest rooms.
Lodz University of Technology is the 4th biggest technical university in Poland which is located in the heart of Europe (Lodz city) with very modern and dynamic study environment (Amazon, Accenture and Fujitsu classrooms), 9 different technical faculties, student dormitories around the campus, the biggest world companies located in the city such as Philips, Bosch, etc., where exchange students can do internships. This university offers to LiepU students studies in different fields of engineering sciences and environmental sciences and getting a very good international experience.
