Information for foreign students who are now in Liepaja in COVID-19 distribution conditions and are studying remotely at Liepaja University - if you are left without means of living due to the total lockdown of your home country or any other reason, then you can be assisted by the Social service agency at Liepaja as you are declared in our town. Some documents which should be prepared:
1) application form (we will help with template);
2) copy of your residence permission and passport;
3) bank balance for the last 3 months.
The emergency situation in Latvia due to COVID-19 has been extended until June 9, but some of the strict measures in place currently will be slightly relaxed. As of 12 May restrictions will be eased in the areas of education, sports, various events and gatherings, transportation, and tourism.
