LiepU hosted professors from Chaoyang University of Technology

On 9 December 2019, LiepU was hosting two professors from Chaoyang University of Technology (CYUT): Liza Lee and Richard Chuan-Ching Hwang. Liza Lee is CYUT professor at the Department of Early Childhood Development and Education and the Dean of the Institute for Humanities and Social Sciences, while Richard Chuan-Ching Hwang is Associate Professor at the Institute for Humanities and Social Sciences.

Liza Lee lectured students at Liepaja University on Holistic Music Education Approach for teaching Young Children on Multiple Developments, while Richard Chouan Ching Hwang on Social Policy in Taiwan in Comparative Perspective.

Liza Lee also attended Liepaja Christian primary school, where she had the opportunity to watch the musical performances of children, as well as to see the different lessons, and to meet with the school's Methodist Vinte Pole.

During a meeting with the Dean of LiepU Pedagogy and Social Work Faculty Linda Pavītola, it was decided to conclude a memorandum of understanding, a contract for student exchange, as well as to start work on a joint Erasmus + project which will allow, by receiving scholarships,  both LiepU and Chaoyang University Technology teachers and students to visit universities.
