For the last few days Liepaja University is hosting Rector of InterNapa College Nicos Anastasious. During the visit, Liepaja University Rector Dace Markus and Dean of Faculty of Management and Social Sciences Inta Kulberga welcomed Nicos Anastasious at the university, in the official meeting they were discussing about higher education in Cyprus and Latvia, Cyprus accreditation system as well as about future projects which are related to LiepU Tourism management students.
During the meeting with LiepU Tourism management students, Rector were explaining why Cyprus is the best destination where to learn about hospitality and hotel management.
Within the Erasmus+ program, cooperation with both institutions has started quite recently with the visit of LiepU International Coordinator Erika Lauberga at the college in the month of September 2019 and will follow with few more academic staff visits to college and LiepU.
The College is located on the eastern part of the island in the municipality of Sotira, very close to two of the most popular European tourist destinations, Ayia Napa and Protaras. This location makes it ideal for studies in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts and Business Administration. Students of the College have the added advantage of being able to carry out their summer internships at well-known hotels and restaurants.
